The most popular pinball machine of all time. With over 20,000 units produced to meet the staggering demand, TAF is the best-selling pinball machine in history.
It is without a doubt our favourite machine to play here at TOSP. It doesnt have the greatest features, it isnt spectacular to look at, it isnt particularly complex. But it is, above all else, fun. This machine is, when compared to the likes of Twilight Zone or Cirqus Voltaire, underwhelming to look at. But the experience of playing the game stands head and shoulders above all else. This is the only machine we have played that is packed full of unforgettable micro-experiences. The first time you tour the mansion, the first time you trigger multi-ball and hear the famous 'Showtime' or even the first time thing nails that graveyard shot for you.
I can only begin to imagine what this experience must have been like in 1992, a year when Super Mario Kart launched on the SNES (console also released in 92). What is different about this game, compared to other fantastic games, is that more so than any other pinball; it's 100% fun.
